Theme Song / ビデオ・インスタレーション
武徳殿（大垣城隣の武道場）を舞台にした、ビデオ・インスタレーション。スクリーンに見立てられた武徳殿の三つの大窓に、家電ストアーでサンプリングした映像・音楽が大画面で映し出される。特売セールの店内のように、めまぐるしく変わるその風景や人々の欲望を現代の武道にメタファーしたインスタレーション作品。「特価販売、割引販売、特売セール、半額セール、処分セール」など過剰な言葉をコラージュし、架空の家電ソングと共に表現。お買い得商品が目白押しのこの映像は、鑑賞者の物欲を煽り、高揚感を誘い、心の葛藤へと誘う。

Theme Song 1980yen “Video Installation ”
Installation work at BUTOKUDEN (martial arts centre in Ogaki pref. Japan). This installation work was exhibited at Butokuden, a Japanese traditional martial arts competition hall standing next to an over 470 year old castle called, Ogaki castle. Colourful and busy Images taken of an electronics store’s advertisement signs are projected onto three large screen windows inside of Butokuden. It is a metaphor installation work that compares the customers’ emotional conflicts at the crazy electronics store and martial art fighters’ combative spirit
