映像インスタレーション ／ アーツチャレンジ2010
無限のように送られてくる折込みチラシ、めまぐるしく変わる街頭ポスター、電車の中吊り広告、巨大な街頭モニター……。過剰な物質と過激な色彩に溢れた現代社会に生きている僕たちは、街の至る所に点在する宣伝文句に晒され、常に購買心を煽られている。しかしながら虚偽と誇大が飛び交う、その毒毒しい虚構の世界にも、ある種の心地よさや美しさが存在するのも確かです。私たちはこのインスタレーション作品を”コマーシャルとしてのアート”というテーマで挑み、現実と虚構を、皮肉とユーモラスという切り口で表現しました。

“MAY I HELP YOU ? Video installation”
This installation work was shown at ARTS CHALLENGE 2010. Exceedingly decorated, the video installation work intrigues people with extreme phrases by recreating a mega electronics store in the event site (Aichi Arts Center). From our points of views on commercial works which we have involved for a long time, we wanted to express our way of contemporary art by challenging with theme “art as commercial” to depict real and fiction with irony and humor.
